COVID-19 UPDATE FOR CLASSES: In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, we’ve updated our procedures for classes. This includes, but is not limited to:
- In accordance with Kansas Governor Laura Kelly’s executive order mandating mask usage means that you’ll need to wear a barrier face mask while attending a class at the Public Market. The only exception is people are exempt from wearing a mask “while they are eating or drinking, provided they maintain a 6-foot distance between individuals.”
- Barrier face masks will be available for participants who do not have their own.
We’ve limited class sizes to accommodate social distancing. Participants will be spaced six feet apart from each other, and will not be required to work with anyone outside of the person/people they came with. Participants who are taking a class with a friend or family member etc. will be seated together.
- We thoroughly clean all the tables, chairs, and equipment before and after each class.
- Limits on class size will be in accordance with state and county guidelines.
- Check with individual instructors on any specific class expectations.
Your patience and understanding during this time is appreciated.
