Lenexa Public Market is open through the holidays

Lenexa Public Market is open through the holidays
Posted on 11/18/2020

As the holidays approach, we know you’ll be looking for a place to meet your friends for a safe lunch, hold an end-of-the-year meeting or grab a quick and quality take out meal. We’re here for all of that.

Coming to visit? We’ve adjusted our operations in accordance with all current state and local regulations. Precautions we’re taking include:

  • Guests are required to wear masks at all times, in and around the Market, unless seated and eating or drinking.
  • Market staff and vendors wear masks and wash hands frequently.
  • There is reduced seating on both Market levels to accommodate maximum capacity restrictions.
  • Tables are spaced at least 6-feet apart to meet social distancing guidelines, and seating is limited to groups of eight customers or less.
  • Signs on the floor indicate proper social distancing while waiting in line.
  • High-touch surfaces and items are sanitized regularly including door handles, push bars, tabletops and trash cans.
  • Hand sanitizer stations are available for community use.
  • Staff and vendors will stay home if they are sick and, if exposed, will follow mandatory quarantine and testing guidelines.

Here is what we’re asking of our customers as we try to maintain an environment that is a safe space for all:

  • Please be patient, flexible and kind, as everyone is doing their best given the circumstances.
  • Consider using carry out, curbside pickup and third-party delivery options as much as possible.
  • Use our outdoor patio seating, complete with warmers and fire pits, when weather allows.
  • Stay home if you are feeling ill, are showing signs or symptoms of the virus, or have been in close contact with someone who is ill.
  • Be mindful to stay at least 6-feet away from other patrons, vendors and market staff while in the Market.
  • Before moving tables, please ask a staff member.
  • Use the hand sanitizer stations available.
  • Do not come to the Market with groups larger than eight people.

We love seeing everyone’s masked faces and are looking forward to helping you celebrate the holidays in every way possible. Thank you for your support of our space and our merchants. We appreciate your patience, your consideration and your continued presence here. The safety and well-being of our community is extremely important to us, and we are continually monitoring the situation along with guidance and direction from our local, regional and state agencies. Further changes will be communicated via our website and social media.

Merchant hours and online/carryout/third-party delivery options vary so be sure to check individual merchant listings here for details.

Current Public Market hours are:
