Birdhouse Building at Family Night: May 7

Celebrate Building Safety Month by building and decorating your own birdhouse using materials provided by Lenexa's Community Development Department during Family Night on May 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. This hands-on activity invites you to craft a unique birdhouse while learning building safety tips.

Materials provided:
  • a variety of stickers
  • wooden birdhouse with instructions that can easily be pieced together 
  • crayons and markers 
  • building safety-themed coloring pages
Pick up a birdhouse (one per child) on the Market floor level of the Public Market, while supplies last. This is a free activity. 


Every Wednesday is Family Night at the Lenexa Public Market from 5 to 8 p.m.
