Friday Night Sound Bites: Green Shoebox Band

Join us for free, live music and flavorful food options from Public Market merchants and rotating guest food trucks every Friday night.

Friday, Oct. 11
Opener: School of Rock Blue Valley playing from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Band: Green Shoebox Band playing from 7 to 10 p.m.
Food trucks: Coco Loco Grill serving dinner from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Rolling in the Dough KC serving dessert from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

About the series

Grab a friend, get some grub and groove into the weekend every Friday night from 7 to 10 p.m. (through Oct. 25) outside on the Lower Commons. Watch for special themed Sound Bites throughout the season.

What to know before you attend

Outside alcohol not allowed. Purchase alcoholic beverages from merchants.
Food and drinks available to purchase.
Patio seating available but we encourage BYOC — bring your own chair.
Free to attend. No tickets/registration needed.

Parking

Free parking available onsite in the Lenexa Civic campus parking garage (17201 W. 87th St. Pkwy). Enter on Winchester Street or West 88th Street. Additionally, there is public parking in the Winchester Parking garage, west side of the Shawnee Mission Aquatic Center — enter on Winchester Street.

Inclement weather plan

If case of inclement weather, Friday Night Sound Bites will be canceled. Weather conditions are monitored and decisions are made by 3 p.m. Look for cancellation information on Public Market website and social media channels.
