Friday Night Sound Bites + Red Friday

Red Friday is all about celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs. Dress in red and join us a block party featuring an appearance by KC Wolf, football throwing inflatable, and a fire show.

We are partnering with Made in KC for this event.

Friday, Sept. 13
Opener: Solo musician Brooke Mertz playing indoors from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Meet KC Wolf: have your photo taken with the Chiefs mascot from 6 to 7 p.m.
Band: Fast Times playing from 7 to 10 p.m.
Fire show: watch the show from 8 to 9 p.m.
Food truck: Bryce's Food Truck & TBD serving dinner from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

About the series

Grab a friend, get some grub and groove into the weekend every Friday night from 7 to 10 p.m. (through Oct. 25) outside on the Lower Commons. Watch for special themed Sound Bites throughout the season.

What to know before you attend

Outside alcohol not allowed. Purchase alcoholic beverages from merchants.
Food and drinks available to purchase.
Patio seating available but we encourage BYOC — bring your own chair.
Free to attend. No tickets/registration needed.

If case of inclement weather, Friday Night Sound Bites will be canceled. Weather conditions are monitored and decisions are made by 3 p.m. Look for cancellation information on Public Market website and social media channels.
